Langham, looked after by the people who live here

A trust for the village, run by the village

Langham Community Trust is registering as a charity set up by local people, for the benefit of local people. We exist to support the village of Langham, Rutland, and the surrounding community, funding projects, organising events, and helping deserving causes. We support and encourage fundraising efforts, working with resident volunteers and local community groups to help raise funds that can be allocated to benefit our village and those that live in it. We are not here to replace any of the good work that already takes place in the village but to foster new fundraising opportunities. We're run entirely by volunteer trustees and a task force of volunteers who live here too. The money we raise goes straight back into the village. As a charity, we will be accountable to the charity commission and fundraising regulator. We have the governance and structured operations to support a wide range of fundraising events.
